All students, faculty, staff, and external friends working in energy-related fields are invited to the Energy Initiative’s first Energy Mix of the year — featuring Jim Rogers, barbecue and networking opportunities.
Rogers, former CEO of Duke Energy and Rubenstein Fellow at Duke, will sign copies of his new book, Lighting the World, which outlines his vision to provide power through innovative approaches, including local production, small-scale connections and renewable forms of energy. He’ll also explain his campaign to bring electricity to the 1.2 billion people in the world who now live without it, starting with the creation of the Energy Access Project at Duke University and his efforts to teach and mentor students on the topic.
You can purchase a copy of the book at the Energy Mix. Please register if you plan to attend.
